Ulverston Society of Artists

Born and bred in London, I moved to Cumbria 40 years ago via Somerset and Edinburgh.

I took a career break in the 80s to go to the London School of Furniture and Manchester Polytechnic and was ‘released’ with design qualifications which I have used in my work as a rehabilitation therapist and as a graphic designer.

I work in acrylics, oils and pastels and am concentrating on using coloured pencils at present.

I also enjoy knitting, embroidery and gardening – when the weather allows.
